Description

Amoxycillin 250mg Dispersible Tablets

Amoxycillin is a category of anti-bacterial or antibiotics called penicillin. Amoxycillin is employed to prevent and treat various bacterial infections such as chest infections (pneumonia, bronchitis), ear/nose/throat (ENT) infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, leg ulcers, gum ulcers, dental infections, and pressure sores. Apart from this, it is also employed with other antibiotics such as clarithromycin to treat stomach ulcers due to the H. pylori bacteria.

Amoxycillin has Amoxycillin, which destroys the bacterial cell by inhibiting the chemical (mucopeptides) from the outer layer (cell wall) of the bacteria. Subsequently, Amoxycillin makes the cell wall of the bacterial cell weak and destroys it. It is a broad spectrum of antibiotics that assists in combating various bacteria.

Benefits:

  • Amoxycillin is a wide-spectrum antibiotic that assists in curing several bacterial infections, such as ear, nose, or throat (ENT) infections, skin infections, genitourinary tract infections, and lower respiratory tract infections (LRTI) caused by susceptible bacteria.
  • Amoxycillin acts on gram-positive bacteria (S. pneumoniae) and gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoea).
  • Amoxycillin also assists in treating stomach ulcers created by the H pylori bacteria.
