Methylcobalamin Injection has Methylcobalamin in it, which falls under the category of drugs known as Vitamins. Methylcobalamin Injection is prescribed to treat diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to diabetes), peripheral neuropathy (peripheral nerve damage involving hands, feet, and arms), and megaloblastic anaemia (blood disorder) due to vitamin B12 deficiency in affected individuals.
Methylcobalamin Injection is also prescribed to treat sciatica pain (pain in the leg), back pain, and overall weakness in affected individuals.
Methylcobalamin Injection should not be used in patients with allergy to mecobalamin and/or other B12 preparations.
