This medication is basically a lubricant and it works the same as natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eyes. The eye drops should be taken as per the doctor’s prescription and their dosage and duration are totally based on your doctor’s recommendation. It is for external use only.
